Memory Lane

Memory Lane

Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn’t matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.

It’s actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I’ll assume you’re playing the game and I’ll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don’t want to play on your blog, or if you don’t have a blog, I’ll leave my memory of you in my comments. So let’s have it! Don’t be shy! What do you remember? Anything funny, embarrassing, silly…

I remember when you came to my baby shower and gave presents to everyone in my family. I thought that was so thoughtful--and I was so impressed because I didn't even know you at all. And Isaac loved the whoopee cushion!!

I only get to write one???? Ok, how bout 2 at least?
-My first memory was when you and Martin moved into the ward and I couldn't take my eyes off your hair, it is still so amazing!
-My second memory is when you came to visit after I had my knee surgery...I don't remember a dogone thing about the visit (too many drugs) but I just remember you being there and me thinking "people do like me!"
Ok...just one more
-Just standing in your kitchen talking while the boys ran around like crazy monsters! I loved our conversations and just being around you....I used to think "how can she always be so calm!?"

Anyway the funny part was after the date you told me that pesky Martin wouldn't leave you alone and kept asking you out.
I was totally cought off guard when you decided to marry him. You made a gret choise of corse!

I remember being in Primary with you as the Primary President and how you were always so clear what you said to the children. You would say, "I testify..." It really taught me how to share a staight forward and clear testimony. Thanks for your great example!

Wow, I have a bunch of memories with you since we are married to twins. I think one of my favorite memories was when we went to Aruba together. I loved when we had our girl day and the boys had their boy day. I had so much fun at the spa with you, I wish that we could do that like once a month, at least once a year! I remember you were so burned...but the aloe wrap was so nice. Oh and the people there thought that we were I think rude, and crazy that we requested that women did our massages instead of men. Good times, that was fun!

I remember you coming over to my folks house and hanging out with my little sister Carianne.
I also remember your wedding reception, and that you both did some pretty cool swing dancing.

Memories of hanging out with you and Beehler family. You guys always made us feel welcome and had us over to diner. It is amazing to me we were only there for 9 months and yet we still have a connection, a friendship. Your cruise sounds like a blast!! Much love Tawnya

Oh Rebecca-lou - my soul sister...

Which memory to choose ... I think perhaps one that will always stand out to me is the day of 9-11. I remember we sat on your couch in shock and watched and watched as everything unfolded. Ammon, Tyler, and Lauriannah just played merrily while we watched the world change.
